Molly Elizabeth Cane Whitcomb

Molly Elizabeth Cane Whitcomb was born in Bradford, Vermont, on June 22, 1987.

Molly was a sparkly little girl. She was funny and clever. She danced, acted, and created phenomenal Halloween costumes for herself and others. She played dress-up, danced, and sang with her cousin Avery starting when they were just toddlers. When she was in second grade, she went to Boston with her family. She and her cousin Avery dressed up as models and attended the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker with her aunts and mom. She went on adventures with her grandmother Faye Whitcomb throughout the years, including going to Florida.

After graduating from high school, she attended Johnson State College and completed courses in art, theatre, and humanities. Afterwards, she worked in the hospitality industry and at various high-end clothing stores, restaurants, and bars in both Vermont and Arizona. Molly possessed many gifts. She could talk to anyone, from paupers to princes and made everyone feel included. She was a creative cook and could whip up a gourmet pasta dish from a fridge and pantry that were almost bare. Molly was a hospitality whisperer. She created parties and events fit for royalty and celebrities.

Molly and her mother, Lynn Marie Whitcomb, were very close, and she lost her mother in 2018. Molly had a large extended family. She is survived by her father, Nate Huber; her first cousins, David Whitcomb, Maureen Whitcomb, Avery Occaso, Max Pledger, and Tyler Pledger; her aunts, Andrea Whitcomb, Joan Pledger, Teresa Hahn, and Felicia Darling; her uncles, Paul Whitcomb and Daniel Whitcomb; and many friends.

Molly met an untimely death in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 3, 2026. Her family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony.

As Molly would say, “Peace Out.”
